The Brand
SMØK Studio is Danish fashion and lifestyle brand based in Amsterdam and founded by Sisse Enderlein.
Rooted in Scandinavian simplicity and with a strong focus on sustainability, SMØK Studio is driven by a desire to make beautiful things that you can love for a long time.
We are deeply invested in the idea of owning less and loving what you have. This ethos is an integral part of our pursuit to produce all SMØK Studio items in small batches, allowing us to avoid excess and also ensure that each piece is expertly crafted.
Quality, craftsmanship, functionality and simplicity are keywords that capture the essence of our brand and we work with an unrivalled attention to detail and quest for perfection.
All pieces are designed and crafted in our studio in Amsterdam.
OUR STORY
The Founder
"Creativity has always been a safe place for me - a kind of meditation. I did it with my grandma from when I was very little: crochet, knitting, all of these crafts. Later, when I became I bit older, I loved to make my own dresses for all sort of big events, whether it was my confirmation or high-school galla.
I have always loved creating with my hands and I've always had this very specific idea of how I wanted things to look like. It's natural to me to create things, and it's the ultimate reward to be able to create something that can bring other people joy and beauty in their life."
